Item Description:
Here is a Chain Fussee Skeleton Clock, with double fussee. It has two sets of gears, thus striking on the hour and counting the number of times it is the hour. It strikes once for each hour the clock shows, for instance, five times for five o'clock. This style clock is in contrast to the other skeleons which have just a passing strike on the hour, striking only one time. This clock is not like that, it actually strikes once for each hour on the hour, and also once on the half hour. It measures 17 ½ inches high and 12 inches wide. The dial is 6 ½ inches in diameter, and it has a brass bell 3" in diameter. It is all complete, but it will need some adjustments on it. The beautiful oval Glass Dome is included.
