Here is one of the most beautiful Crystal Regulators you will ever see, similar to the 1885 Ansonia Utopia. It is a very heavy piece, with its brass case, glass columns, and porcelain dial. Note the curved and bevelled front and back glass and all glasses are bevelled. It has a visible escapement where you can see the escape wheel turning while the clock is running, and it looks absolutely beautiful. The heavy architectual top and finials on each corner of the case really add to its beauty. But the 4 full glass columns really add to its brilliance. It has an eight day brass movement with a gong striker on the hour and half hour. It is a terrific clock made by Proclocks. The original clock has a value of over $4500, and ProClocks is selling this clock with no reserve at all. Shipping is $40 within the Continental USA.
