Item Description:
Here is a tooled leather carriage clock box with fantastic tourbillon escapement carriage clock. It measures 6 ¾ x 4 ¾ inches, and it has thick bevelled glass on all four sides. The tourbillon escapement is totallly visible in the lower part of the dial, and you can see it rotating while the clock is working. It has a porcelain dial 2" in diameter on a larger 3 ¼ x 2 ½ inch porcelain plate. The carrying case is one which is identical to the original of 1890, and it is just terrific.
