Item Description:

Here is one very special skeleton clock which ProClocks has just produced a total number worldwide of 15 pieces. Look at the absolute thickness of the design of the front and back plates. They are each just a tad over ¼ inch thick. I do not think I have ever seen any skeleton clock with plates this thick. Note the Great Wheel and the Arrow Design of the plates. It alone stands 17 ½ inches high, and with the base and dome, the total height is 22 ½ inches, just under 2 feet. This is one absolutely fantastic looking skeleton clock. The great wheel measures 8 ½ inches in diameter, and look at the cut out spokes on it, as well as, the arched base on its frame. The clock is gold plated but not overly shiny. It even has a silk string suspension unit, like the very early french and austrian skeleton clocks of the 1840's. The top two gears show alot of action in turning as the clock is running. It has a terrific porcelain dial 4 ½ inches in diameter. The key itself is solid brass weighing over ½ pound, at almost 10 ounces. If you look closely at the frames you will see arrows on both the front and back plates. They are hand cutout with the plates as the clock is made. This clock is truly a One of A Kind (actually 15) in the World. Add this amazing clock to your collection today. It would be priced well over $2,500 in any upscale clock shop. Do not miss this great piece. Shipping is $45 within the continental USA. Note the last picture shows it with an oval glass dome. It is available also for an additional charge of $150, but it is not included with the clock and base in this listing.
