Item Description:
Here is a beautiful Brass Rococco Case Crystal Regulator With Visible Escapement. This clock measures 16 ¼ x 8 ½ inches and features a visible escapement wheel, and thick beveled glass on all sides of the clock. This is a heavy brass case and nicely done rococco brass case with a finial on top of it. It has a gold plated patina throughout the case. The clock has claw feet, and a 3 ¾ inch diameter Roman numeral dial. Note, the movement is visible from all sides and there is a simulated mercury pendulum, and it has a visible escapement, with the escape wheel turning as the clock is running. The clock runs on a brass eight day movement with hour and half hour strike on a coiled gong. The clock is not too old, but a very nice looking Ansonia Style Crystal Regulator. It is fully complete, and ready to set on your mantle to show off your beautiful home. This clock has a retail price of $1250. Shipping is $45.
