Item Description:
Here is a very nice clock that measures 35 x 16 ½ inches. The piece has an 11 inch paper Roman numeral dial. The case of this clock is very interesting and quite beautiful. It features a great scroll bottom on the case, often called a 'rolling pin' bottom, and has extensively carved dolphins on the middle door. The dolphin theme adds elegance to this piece. There is an eight day brass movement, striking on the hour. Other features include reverse painted glass. Please note the movement is circa 1890 with a later, beautifully carved case.
