Large Calendar with Moon Dial Conical Clock, Here is one of the largest Conical Clocks you will ever see. It stands with its dome at almost 36 inches high and 20 inches in diameter, setting on brass claw feet. There is an eagle holding the cobalt blue ball on a rod and string. It is constantly revolving in a circular motion as the clock is running--this is the pendulum of the clock. It is always moving in this circular direction above the time dial as the clock is running. Each of the three dials are porcelain, and the one on the left is a full calendar, with month, day of month, and day of the week, also having a moon dial. It has a thermometer in the middle of the clock, and on the right is a style of a barometer. The clock runs for eight days and it strikes the hour and half hour on a large 3 ¾ inch diameter brass bell in the rear of the clock. The wood base sets 5 ½ inches off the table, and the dome itself is 31 x 15 ¼ inches in a cylinder shape, and in excellent condition. I am amazed as I watch this clock running. The skeletonized movement is visible from all directions. This is one very rare and special clock that you can amaze your friends with, and in an upscale clock shop, this clock would sell for $3,000.-$4,500. ProClocks is proud to offer it to you. It is not antique, but a rare collectable clock, making only 25 pieces of this great item, and ProClocks is offering it on our web site. Shipping with insurance is $150 due to the very large dome and clock, and its requirements for packing to prevent any damage in transit. Of course, you may pick it up at our Retail Clock Shop in Cincinnati, Ohio, and then there is no shipping charge.
