Zappler Crown Wheel Escapement Clock Here is a most unusual Zappler Style Brass Skeleton Clock. It has a matching glass dome and the clock has a crown wheel escapement, and a most unusual pendulum swinging in front of the beautiful dial. It stands 7 ¼ inches high and on a 5 inch diameter white marble base. The roman numeral painted metal dial is 2 ¼ inches in diameter. It is an eight day movement, not just a 30 hour as you might expect from such a small clock. The glass cylinder dome protects it from all the dust that might accumulate on it. It is a very nice skeletonized Zappler with key wind, having a crown wheel escapement, also called a king's crown wheel escapement, and of course having a key with it. It has shipping charges of $25 within the Continental USA.
