Item Description:
Here is our latest addition to the ProClocks line of clocks. It is the Ferris Wheel Crystal Regulator, in wood and Gold Plate. Note that this clock is never wound with a key. It is powered by a series of balls, which follow a track in the top of the clock, down through the back of the clock on a 'ferris wheel', and end in the bottom drawer. You simply replace them back into the top every week, and the clock continues to run on the 'weight' power of the balls. It stands 22 inches high and 10 ½ inches wide, with thick bevelled glass on all four sides. The top of the clock is adorned with a lion and finials. Just below the Lion and black marble crest, within the wooden encasement, there is a 'track' that the balls are lined up into. They follow this 'track' through the ferris wheel of the clock, powering it as they work their way into the bottom drawer of the clock. It has a terrific deco style cream colored enamel dial 3 ½ inches in diameter, with arabic numerals. It even has a visible escapement just below the numeral '12', where you can see it as the escapement is revolving as it is working. This clock is absolutely beautiful. It has shipping charges of $50 within the Continental USA.
